1. Very nice to see start-ups like Fisker, Aptera and Tesla filling the giant void of the major automakers.

   I have a feeling that the Aptera could become a collector’s car. Worth noting that it costs only $30k – comparable to a Prius but with 5x the mpg. They are also jumping ahead of Chevy Volt in that they offer a diesel generator to electric option – this is how they get the 200 mpg.

   Fisker meanwhile, seems a bit ahead of Tesla in offering a four-seater alternative.

   Lots of excitement happening here – look for innovation to occur as people become increasingly frustrated with the major U.S. manufacturers.
